Facilities

The Kiwanis West Shelter is located at Rogers Lakewood Park. It's the first shelter just inside the park to the right, or south, of the entrance road. It is a large open-sided shelter with a beautiful view of the water.

At the Lakewood Park Store rentals are available for rowboats ($7 per hour), paddle boats ($7 per half hour) & fishing poles and bait ($20 for 2 hours). Park store hours are seasonal and can be found on the website.

Inflatables may only be used if rented through the Valpo Parks Office.

Reservations and add-on's must be made 2 weeks in advance.

Gate code for guest entry to the park: $50
4 additional picnic tables: $35
Half barrel grill: $60

Full payment is required at the time of reservation and RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Any event that will exceed the shelter capacity must be approved by the Valpo Parks Office prior to reserving.
