- Youth Sports, Adult Sports, Enrichment Activities, Summer Camp, and/or Discovery Cottage
- To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be requested a minimum of seven (7) days before the published registration deadline.
- Cancellations within seven (7) days of the published registration deadline will not be refunded.
- Refunds will be distributed back to the participant through a check in the mail. This process takes 4 – 6 weeks.
- Refunds for Summer Camp will be processed through the Camp Doc software.
- A $15.00 service charge for processing all cancellations will apply unless the Valpo Parks and Recreation Department cancels a program due to low enrollment.
· Facility Reservations
o All facility rentals are non-refundable.
o If Valpo Parks must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
· Special Events
o Day Trips
§ Registrations are non-refundable
§ If registrants spot can be filled, registrant will receive a household credit that can be used toward a future Day Trip that calendar year.
o Royal Tea Party, Kids Closet Sale, Color Fun Run, 4th of July Blast, Valpo Night Ride, Valpo Bike Fest races, Popcorn Panic, Lit’l Kernel Puff, Jr. Kernel Run

- If eligible, registrations done through RunSignUp will be refunded through the RunSignUp software

· Community Garden Plots, Passes to Rogers Lakewood, ValPAWraiso Dog Park, Central Park Plaza Ice Rink, Golf, or other season passes are non-refundable.
*Special consideration may be given by the Valpo Parks Director in the case of documented life altering situations and medical emergencies.*
