Kids can join the Popcorn Festival fun with this unique, kid-friendly run in Downtown Valparaiso. Kids run 100–300 yards depending on age group, and receive a t-shirt and participation ribbon.

*Please note that parents may NOT run with their children. The VU Women's Basketball team will run with children, and parents pick up at the finish line.

Register early as space is limited. Fee increases to $23 starting 8/11 until event is full.

This is a non-refundable fee.



To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be requested a minimum of twenty-one (21) days before the published registration deadline.

Cancellations within twenty-one (21) days of the published registration deadline will not be refunded.

Refunds will be distributed back to the participant through a check in the mail. This process takes 4 – 6 weeks.

A $15.00 service charge for processing all cancellations will apply unless the Valpo Parks and Recreation Department cancels a program due to low enrollment.
