Facilities
Butterfield Family Pavilion offers plenty of space for weddings, parties, meetings, and/or any other entertainment need. Seating capacity is 250 and features handicap-accessible restrooms and a small kitchen with a food warmer and trays.
The pavilion may be reserved for the current year and the upcoming year.
Full payment is due at time of reservation and is non-refundable. Reservation hours are 9am to midnight. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE.
Early early set-up is available for a discounted fee on Monday-Friday only. This fee applies only with a paid primary reservation.
Any wedding event, Quinceanera or any event serving alcohol requires security at an additional hourly fee which will be arranged by Valpo Parks. Security begins from the time first guests arrive until cleanup is completed.
Note:
In the event Valpo Parks must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Valpo Parks.
You will need to pick up the pavilion key the day before your event from the Valpo Parks Admin Office. If your event is on a Sunday, you must pick up the key on Friday.
Security times and floor layouts are due two (2) months prior to your event.
A rental contract will be emailed to you after your date is held and needs to be signed within 24 hours of receipt. Once the contract is signed, you will receive a separate email containing a link to your invoice, to be paid in full in order to secure your rental date.
Rental fees are non-refundable.
