Rentals are available at the Park Store, rowboats ($8 per hour) paddle boats ($8 per half hour)
Park Store Open Days: Friday - Sunday
Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Special Holiday Hours: Open on Memorial Day and Labor Day
Rental Cut-off: All rentals stop at 4:30 PM
Inflatables may only be used if rented through the Valpo Parks Office.
Reservations and add-on's must be made two weeks in advance.
Optional Add-ons:(must call the office to add)
Gate code for guest entry to the park: $50
Two (2) additional picnic tables: $45
Full payment is required at the time of reservation.
RESERVATIONS ARE RAIN OR SHINE AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
Any event that will exceed the shelter capacity must be approved by the Valpo Parks Office prior to reserving.

This reservation is from 9am - 10pm. This is your permit. Please keep this confirmation for your records. You will not receive any future mailings regarding this reservation.

Electrical hookups are available at the shelter.
Shelter is lighted - automatic on at dusk
No grill rentals but you may bring your own
The enclosed room attached to this shelter is part of your reservation and will be unlocked along with the restrooms on the side of the building. They are unlocked only with a shelter reservation.
RESERVATIONS ARE RAIN OR SHINE AND SHELTER AND ADD-ON FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
If a major shelter problem occurs, please call the 219-462-5144 then select option 1.
Rules for Shelter Rentals:
No canopies or tents
No amplified sound
No decorations that will damage the structure or landscaping
No artificial petals/leaves, glitter, confetti, rice, fireworks, tiki-torches
Please do not use chalk anywhere in the shelter, including the concrete floor
Anything you bring in must be taken out or thrown away
Failure to clean-up after your event will result in an excess clean-up fee.
